Mike Anderson receives the first Arnold Classic MARTIAL ARTS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. The nomination of Anderson to receive this award was surprising, as it was presented by traditional karate-do sportsmen. The Florida martial arts legend, who's been deeply involved in every martial art sport from taekwon-do to kickboxing, has been at odds with the karate-do heirarchy since the early 60s.
The Arnold Classic is the largest event of its kind in the world. This year, a record breaking:
Over 200,000 spectators
Over 17,000 athletes competing in 36 sports
